About Me

MY NAME IS antony, but you can call me tony

My love for all things mechanical started in the garage, tinkering on cars with my Dad when I was twelve. My Dad established his own auto repair shop in the 90's and also worked as a tool and die maker. I would shadow him on weekends as we went from the repair shop to the machine shop, fixing or making new whatever was broken.

It was sometime during my teens that I realized what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, and that was to work with metal. I was fortunate enough to combine this love of machinery with my love of drawing, which lead me to my career as a CAD drafter and designer.  I now use SolidWorks and AutoCad to draw the pictures that I once use pencil and paper for.

From my days in the shop with my Dad, I've since refined my metal working skills - attending workshops in Southern Minnesota, connecting with my local blacksmith's guild, and apprenticing with family friend and accomplished blacksmith, Bernhard Heer.
