Blacksmith
I enjoy working with iron using traditional blacksmiths techniques. Most of the work I do is on a smaller scale, as I don't have power hammers or a large work space. I am happy to work on smaller pieces that can be forged by hand.
Fire pits
I can design a customized 36" diameter fire pit ring with your choice of cut out shapes and lettering. You can choose between heavy duty 10-gauge Carbon Steel or 304 Stainless Steel. I prefer to make them out of Stainless Steel because they will acquire a beautiful rainbow colored patina after a couple of hot fires.
Fire poker
One of the most commonly forged blacksmith tool of all time would undoubtedly be the steel fire poker. Let me make you one that fits your style.
Fire Pit Tripod grill
I like to make tripod grills, as they are such a simple and wonderful way to cook in the outdoors. There is nothing better than a meal cooked over a campfire.
Hooks
I enjoy making many different styles of hooks, from big plant hanger hooks to small hooks for keys.
wine and beer bottle openers
I can make a customized bottle opener, made to last forever.
cross
Crosses make great gifts for loved ones, from small to large.
Silver & Copper Smith
I love the contrasting colors that copper and silver provide. Let me design a custom piece of jewelry for you.
Necklaces, bracelets, rings earrings
I like to work with .999 fine silver for its malleability and softness. Copper is also a wonderful material to work, as it is also very soft and malleable.
Up-cycling
I enjoy re-purposing vintage items, resurrecting them into something newer and better.
Silverware
I like to use old silverware as a medium to create unique jewelry, such as bracelets, rings and necklaces. I also use silverware to make business card holders, coat hooks, or other creative pieces.
Reclaimed wood
Their is nothing better than finding a rustic piece of wood to incorporate into my next project. I've used wood as a backdrop for coat hooks and shelves, as accents to my jewelry, and have also combined it with metal to produce pieces of visual interest.
Repoussé & Chasing
There are few metalsmith techniques that offer such diversity of expression. Chasing and repoussé are used in conjunction to create a finished piece. While repoussé is used to work on the reverse of the metal to form a raised design on the front, chasing is used to refine the design on the front of the work by sinking the metal.
necklace pendents, ornamental work, vessels
I enjoy the challenge of taking flat sheets metal and forming it into something organic.
3D CAD Modeling & Fabrication
I use SolidWorks and AutoCAD software for design work. If you need something measured, modeled and made, I can help you. I have close relationships with several fully capable fabrication shops to assist in building whatever you need.
Laser cutting, Welding, Sandblasting, POWDER COAT painting, machining work
I have over 14 years of industrial equipment design experience, specializing in bulk material handling systems. While I enjoy seeing my computer-generated drawings come to life, I am much happier in my workshop, pounding on a piece of steel.
